I saw a home today that was vacant and fully renovated on lockbox. I enter the home and the temperature was 86 per the digital thermostats. How could this be? Someone intentionally turned the oven on high broil and then turned the overhead microwave exhaust on high, locked up and left. However the thermostats were set at 58 to prevent any possible freeze issue.    So what is this? I know the lender couldn't care because the loan hasn't closed, the seller is a non-profit so they aren't trying to do anything. So who can get in  on a supra and what's the deal besides trying to be on the news for burning a home down?

Entry by Supra Key is recorded so there had to be another way of entering the house.

Sounds like someone was testing things?  Home inspection?  Or, you just busted an insurance scam.

I have been in homes with supra and it didn't register.  Supra isn't failsafe.

That being said, I have also had to use my redneck lockbox key many times when supra just wouldn't work.

The other day, I started skrewing with the garage code and actually guessed it right.  1234, 4321, 1111, 2017, 2018.... 0097 (the lot number) and badabing.

I figured out the riddle.  Some buyer or agent or contractor started messing with the oven when the power was off.  Power was turned back on when the house was put under contract for the appraisal and inspection.   Nobody checked to make sure the house was safe after it was turned on.

And they want us to turn on the electricity and water...
Nope, not me.
