Finger cove on Lake Lanier with maybe 10-12 docks in the cove. About half of the homeowners pool money together to dredge the cove, but others don't want to spend the money. Price to dredge the cove was $100K split between 6 homeowners.
My question is exactly how the process works. Does the whole cove benefit or only those specific docks that footed the bill? I was under the impression when the cove is dredged that it benefits all parties with docks that have access to the cove. Sounds like a dumb question. But I spoke with a homeowner that made me think otherwise when they were talking about water depth and who in the cove benefited from the dredging. Anyone familiar with the process? __________________ O IIIIIIIO

They probably piled the dredge at the head of the docks that didn't pay.

I know they did it in my old neighborhood.
