Obviously we do a lot of driving.  I have a brand & model that I like made by Jawbone.  I need another great one that sounds like you're in the office rather than a bucket.

Curious to see what you guys like.  Other than the car's BT.

Ok.

not exactly in regards to the OP.... But something I have noticed.

My car is a honda.  Works ok on bluetooth.  But I got the new iphone and if I answer it off of bluetooth, it immediately goes back to bluetooth once someone answers.  Highly annoying and it didn't do that with the old iphone.

Second note.  I have been driving a rental rav4.  It has bluetooth that is extremely clear and works very well.  However, when trying to get the supra key to unlock a lockbox it takes an extreme amount of time with the toyota in the driveway and running.  Something about the toyota bluetooth interferes with the supra operation.  This doesn't happen with the Honda.  Sure, it would work fine if I shut the car off... But I like to leave it running.  There are days when I crank the car at 3am and finally shut it off for the day at 2am the following morning.

Just some quibbles I thought I would point out.  I have never used a bluetooth headset before.... Personally I think people look like douches when wearing them and I HATE it when I am doing an inspection and someone is using that crap while following me around.  I can never figure out if they are talking to me or the voice in their head.

Another note... My kid has one of those gizmo devices.  It has the absolute best sounding speaker phone in existence.  Why can't they do that in a phone???  So... If you can figure out which company makes the gizmo their other products might likely have great acoustics with their speaker/handsfree stuff.

just looked it up.  The gizmo is made by LG.  Maybe you might want to look at LG bluetooth devices.

Wow an ear piece.  Where do you park your trans-am?
HA, kidding!

I use the phone.  If I'm in the field, I ain't got time for all that.  What can you possibly do in the field while your inspecting a property?  Pull over and do what you need to on the phone.

Accept that assignment that someone is calling about while taking an attic photo in a hoarder house..But then again... Thats what I just use the phone for.

I am trying to reduce the amount of crap I carry.  Right now, I am down to just an ipad, phone and a laser.  I am leaving the tape in the car 99% of the time and I am using the s910 on the boogerbears.  Wearing an earpiece.... Not for me.

If only they would just put a damn flash on the ipad.
