What is your response when a client requests that you check building codes to see if something additional required..   such as the height of a deck needing a railing?

Unfortunately this is a non-amc client that I do NOT want to lose..

Just to update:  I did call the building inspector and got him in one phone call.  It was taken care of in 30 seconds.  To anyone that wants to cut something off at the pass for a good client this can be done efficiently apparently.

Here is what you did wrong.  You should have gotten the name and phone number for your client and passed it along.  Now you have proven that you are willing to be a b!tch.  This won't be the last time....

Once someone makes you their b!tch... You will always be their b!tch.

I called Cobb County Today and was on hold for 1/2 hour and then hung up....I doubt you call DeKalb County and even get to speak to a person...they will call back in a couple of days....They are tied with Fulton for Sucking the Big ....
