I know that a front photograph is required for an update.  Is a new front photograph required for a final inspection?

Not that I know of....  but I snap one every time just in case an underwriter is mentally challenged.

Interesting question, but I was trained to include a new street scene and front photo...if it is new construction...include the rear.

Ive never taken new front photos on a final.  But several lenders and now requiring it.  Problem is I got a good client wanting me to provide a front photo and I didn't take it.  Their engagement letter says front photo required for update and a photo of the repairs is required for repair inspections.  But their checklist must say that a front photo is required for all 1004D's.

Just didn't know if this was one of those obscure requirements from FNMA or FHA that they manage to squeek in with a mortgage letter or something.
