I am doing a wobbleybox that has a wooden homade top on the top of the exterior HVAC unit surrounding the fan.

I don't know what happened to the original metal top.  Would you consider this an issue to be repaired?  or just mention it and move on?

I would subject it to be repaired...air flow is critical to the performance of the AC condenser unit = could result in poor cooling and issues later....

I sent it in subject to inspection and repair if necessary.  Let them figure it out.
