Nations Valuation Services out of Kansas? Do they pay in a timely manner? They contacted me about a disaster area report.
Are they a decent company?

I agree..   this is a major issue with our industry..  not knowing who we are dealing with and whether they will pay.   Can you see if they will up front for a quick turn time?  Paypal?

We argue this: Meanwhile the agent's assistant just did 5 unofficial appraisal inspections they paired with a Zestimate and granted 90% LTV - all guaranteed no buy back.

I used to do some work for them, but it's been a few years.  At that time they paid in 45 days.  Sometimes I still get bid requests from them, but I ignore them.

I used to do a good bit for them.  Not a bad client, not the best.

I don't remember having any issues with payment though.

I still do a few occasionally.  Usually get a stip or two because they failed to read something but other than that pretty par for the course.

I just did a disaster report for them. Told then I would not abide by them paying $95 for any future reports they asked for. I saw the 45 days after I took it. I will most likely not do work for them. I have been firing a lot of companies lately.

Yeah, I have seen that in their engagement letter.  I don't have a problem accepting their follow up inspections for $95.  However.... If they want me to do it sometime this year or century, they can pay my fee.
