Holy hell, hurricane Jose is right behind Irma! Looks like a similar path.

Does anyone know if North Korea has access to weather weapons?

Some live feed cams.

One gas station here tried to get 6.99 a gallon.

Not sure how well thats going to work out when the storm is over.... This is like Mayberry by the sea, folks gonna remember that.  No other gas stations tried that, most are around 2.50-260 a gallon here.

This hurricane crap is a lot of fugging work.  I've been busting balls all day just to get out of here.  Still got crap to do tomorrow.

Had to give away about $200 worth of meat to the HVAC man today.  Got my crab bait sitting out by the street from spoiled meat last october.  Didn't figure I needed any more crab bait.

Still don't know what the fugg Ima do with 25 pounds of frozen rotten meat.

Looks like it might not be a direct hit on the east coast.

Houston councilman tells residents not to donate to Red Cross
"I beg you not to send them a penny," he said at Wednesday's council meeting. "They are the most inept unorganized organization I've ever experienced."

I don't know, I think there are a lot better organizations to donate money to than the Red Cross.

If you really want to help folks affected by the hurricanes... Quit worrying about who to send money to.

Go buy a generator and send it to ANYONE... Better yet, don't buy one so that there will be one on the shelf for the folks that need it.

Or how about sending some batteries, or a tractor.  Or opening your doors to evacuees who have pets, or larger families.

There is so much more that can be done that is helpful than sending a few bucks to a charity.

I am currently awaiting word that it is OK for me to go home.  I am lucky, I have an office to stay in.  Most are going broke on motel stays, gas, eating out etc.  I can go in the morning, but it will do no good... Cant crap, eat or bathe so whats the point in getting in the way.

Just go to the local motel...look for the folks with FLA or coastal tags.... Offer to let them wash their clothes.  Offer to let them bring their dog over to run around in a fenced area.  They don't need money or a handout, they just need the basic things that you can't really buy.

The east coast did not get a direct hit, but the storm surge and the intensity caused more damage than the direct hit we got last year with Matthew.  FLA definitely got the worst of it, but the Govt will forget about the Georgia coast that took the brunt of the northeastern quadrant of the storm.

The people who lost everything will have everything replaced.  Its the folks who have structural damage or flooding or something like that who will suffer the most.
