It always been here...  It is now going to be pushed.

If only some smart appraisers would have tried to warn and tell their fellow appraisers.

When rules or laws conflict, the more restrictive takes precedent... FYI

The problem is they expect you to stop the car legally.  Get out.  Shoot the photo.  Re-enter car.  Drive away legally.  There's no way they will ever lighten our work load we just need to get that idea out of our mind.

Who is "They" and why do "they" not understand the laws?

The longer I do this "job" the more I think taking comp photos is the biggest time waster of all. Also a huge waste of gas and its getting dangerous too. I was followed around a neighborhood in Dunwoody last week by a white Ford Ranger after I took two comp photos on one street. Each time I would stop to take a picture he would pull over about three houses back and wait for me to drive off and he would follow. He followed me all the way to 285 until I got on the entrance ramp. This was four more houses in a decent sized area he followed me to.

Have not had that happen in my 17 years of appraising.

I have been followed a few times...I was in Douglasville a few years ago and had a guy follow me...I drove down the street turned around and did that several times to exercise him...I don't worry about the neighborhood watch; I ignore them and let them follow...

I always confront them immediately.  I tell them this is how mortgages get done they've just never noticed before.  And any view from the street is a public view.

I usually stop and let them get out of their car and approach.  Then I floor it burning rubber and they can never catch me.

Its awesome!!!

I did that to a dude in MillPond once.  I was at a stop sign at the end of the street and I saw him walking to me.  I waited until he was about 5 feet away.  and I did a fat burnout right in front of him.  Should have seen dudes face!!!!

Ha, that's funny.
You have to roll down the window and let out a rebel yell when you're peeling off.

Actually... I shot him the bird!!!!

I've done this to many people.  If they follow you.... They are usually just a dumbass.  If they actually get out of their car when you stop.... They are really a dumbass.

Nothing quite proves the point like looking at them in your rear view standing in the road in a pile of tire smoke.
