Anyone using any cool scheduling apps?  I have been using google calander and it works OK but it has a default time slot of either 30 mins or 1 hour.  Most of my inspections take 20-30 mins with 10-15 mins between for driving.  I would like to set a default period of 45 minutes per inspection.  Why is this so hard with google calander?  But I do like how if you put the address in google calander it will plot it out on google maps.

Anyone using anything more efficient?

Typing in the time in Google calendar is easier than scrolling through the pre-assigned times.  I do it often for doctor's appointments which don't occur as often as appraisals so this may not be a solutions.

I use google for everything and you've given me a new trick to try.  Only issue with google is that out of the blue they will eliminate features and there is zero recourse.  You may have a week of busy schedule than, poof, its gone and the feature you had been using is gone.

I've lost some hair in said way a few times.  No warning.  No one to call.  I would send them messages that hey at least give us the option to purchase the feature..   But with google it is all about how they can direct you back to commerce so they can get click fees and they don't really think about the practical or business use for us much.

that is the problem with google.  They add and remove stuff on a whim.  Then when you go to see how to do something you get instructions for a version that was available in 2009.  Frustrating.

I use Google calendar also but haven't had any issue with losing information.  They've tried to update on me, but I've always gone back to the classic calendar.  I've never had the need to schedule anything but half hour increments.  But then again I probably only see half of what ML does on any given appointment day because I go out two days a week.

I also use the Waze app which can sync with Google calendar.  Waze will bring up all of your destinations from Google calendar & you don't have to manually input addresses.  Also gives alerts as to what time to leave to make it on time for the next appointment.

Is Waze a mobile app only or is there a desktop version?

I've never used a desktop version.  But I did a quick Googular search.  Not sure if you can input multiple destinations with start to finish to map your route.

IMO, it's the best GPS app and the only one I use.  Useful to catch traffic jams and speed traps as well input by other users.
