Yes but what meatloaf is pointing out is that anow is a cloud based system with its tentacles in every aspect of your business...  where I'm sure appraisers are forced to share their data..  and now it is sharing it with Corelogic.

Collectively we are technically too incompetent to exist in our current form.  We are being swallowed up by silicon valley quicker than travel agents and taxi drivers.  Agents are next which kind of messes up many of our back up plans.

Other than the metro area (FMLS & GAMLS), are most other MLS systems in Georgia feeding to Zillow, Realtor, etc.?

I don't understand why brokers aren't more outraged with the whole system.  Not only are they giving away THEIR data, but agents are then paying a butt load of money to be a Zillow premier agent to get leads from the data their brokers are giving away.  The big fat commission days are numbered.  Flat fee transactions are the future.

I think its a catch 22, most agents hate Zillow, but unfortunately that is where consumers go to search and if you list a property and it doesn't show up on Zillow your seller is going to have a fit.

I believe this is why they created realtor.com.  They need to brush up the graphics a little better but it is close to Zillow.

At least the brokers fight back a little bit.  But it really needs to be an all out war.

For Sale By Owner.com will give you a free estimate of your home's value so you will know how to accurately price it for sale.

Yup.  No incentive for them to make it high either.
